In the first part of the seminar, Inovar Autismo’s team and ISCTE presented the main results obtained in Portugal.

Then, the testimonies of the several participants were presented: young mediators; technicians; autistic persons and their families.

In the afternoon, a panel of excellence debated the importance of mediation issues for the inclusion of autistic persons in the community. Professors Luís Capucha and Paulo Pedroso (ISCTE), Raquel Galhardo (IEFP), Alexandra Figueiredo (ANQEP), Raquel Lebre (vice-president of the Portuguese Association Voz do Autista) and Tânia Figueiredo and Sara Raposo (ASSOL) participated in the joint reflection.
